LPL was formed in 2007 when Paul Linton, who was the export manager for Harken New Zealand, acquired the export division of Harken N.Z. - formally known as oeFosters (A. Foster & Co Ltd), New Zealand(TM)s oldest Ships(TM) Chandlery.

After 30 years of travelling and distributing marine and hardware equipment throughout the Pacific, Paul fully understands the specific needs of the boat builders, shipyards, marine training schools & hardware stores in the islands.
