11th September 2010 If you've been to a Wagamama before, you'll realize very soon that the Wellington Wagamama is the best in the world. The fishbowl view of Wellington harbour is to die for! The food is to thrive for! Easily the best ingredients and preparation I have experienced. Awesome!
11th March 2015 Had a meal here last night in a party of six. Food came out very staggered, first four meals were 2 to 3 min apart then the last two took at least 10 mins after the fourth before they came out, meant those who got their meal first had finsihed when the last arrived. Mine was last and the noodles were dry and stuck together. Not a very inspiring meal. Waiter was friendly and appologiesed for the delay but as the place was less than half full the kitchen was definitely not up to scratch. Will not bother again and would not recommend for a large party.

13th December 2011 A horrible experience. The atmosphere is really loud and reminded us of a busy food court.
The fare is basically what you can get for $2 anywhere in Southeast Asia. But the quality is lower and the prices very high for what is offered.
We were neglected by the service staff. Still, they had the time to stand in a corner and chat while they otherwise were running around hectic and unprofessional. My food was cold when I got it.
I had the teppan noodles with prawn. This meant I got one meager tiny shrimp! Dumplings were ok. Other person was reasonably happy with Ramen soup - but nothing special. Not much vegetables.
The dessert looked and sounded good, but tasted old.
The toilets - which must be among the best at any Welly restaurant- are only thing that is great about this place. But I choose a restaurant for its food and atmosphere, not the toilets.

5th April 2011 Has a lovely lunch here with my family. It's quite expensive. But the food was great and the service was very nice. It was a bit busy when we got there but they attended to us right away. Plus they gave the kids so coloring things while we're waiting.

12th September 2010 I get the concept of bringing you the food as it's cooked but it just doesn't always work - i went with a friend - i got the wrong dish - they took it back - we waited - she got hers - she ate, she finished - then i got mine - was just a disaster. Food was also uninspired.

28th August 2010 This place is worth going to Wellington for! Simple,clean, basic service but the food is great value and super fresh. They have a really unique menu and concept that is just great! You gotta go!!

22nd August 2010 Wagamama may be a chain which is all over the world, but the food is so nice and fresh! The service is friendly and fast, and you never have to wait long for your meal. Vege options are excellent.

21st August 2010 Just like their restaurants all around the world this one has good asian food at good prices with fast, professional, laid back service. I first had Wagamama in London and this 'branch' compaires favourably.

5th July 2010 I was so glad when Wagamama arrived in Wellington! It's just like it is in London. The food is oozing flavour and they have plenty of vegetarian options. Yum.
