Just great! Gentle touch and an incredible awareness of body & mind. Michael takes a holistic approach to body treatment. Instead of just treating a symptom as many Chiropractic or Physiotherapy practitioners do, Michael looks to correct any underlying problems or alignment issues that may be causing issues. He took the time to understand my body and help me work on correcting alignment issues which has resulted in the long term removal of back pain. Highly recommended.

I have been in 14 car accidents that have shifted my vertebrae from left to right beginning at C2 and ending at L5. I suffered from chronic sciatic pain, stiff necks, head aches, nausea, sharp shoulder pain, fatigue, and emotional imbalance due to my body being out of alignment, and having very little confidence in my ability to train, and heal myself. I was told I would suffer from the chronic, and at time debilitating pain I felt, and I'm only 21!
I came to Michael after an accident skiing which aggravated prior injuries while on holiday and have never experienced as much immediate relief. What a gift. It is apparent in the way he works that he has worked his whole life to gain the immense knowledge and clinical experience he has to now work almost intuitively. I have sought therapy through chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, massage therapy etc. Michael is the only practitioner who gave me hope for my ability to heal my self, with some gentle guiding and assistance. It is clear in the way he works that his goal is to heal his patients, not keep them coming back. I am taking a new approach in life because of the knowledge passed on to me through Michael and have felt less pain the past few weeks than I have in the past four years. I will make it a goal to see Michael every time I come to Christchurch. He gave me the tools to change my life, gratitude is the only word close to what I feel for such a gifted and selfless individual. I could never thank you enough Michael!

23rd February 2014 I saw Michael once on the referral of a friend. I had put my back out badly and my regular osteopath was unable to see me at short notice. Michael accommodated me with a same-day treatment, of which I was deeply appreciative. He used mostly osteopathy and a few acupuncture needles. Michael got me out of the emergency pain situation I was in and encouraged me to exercise daily in order to sleep better advice. Sensible advice which I have applied! I found Michael to be chatty but pleasant, respectful of my own knowledge of my body and previous injuries.
