27th August 2010 My main reason for choosing Richmond Road Cafe over Jafa around the corner was one simple reason .. They served those delicious Sicilian sausages from Matakana that won awards in Cuisine Magazine. Sadly, the last time I went they served a second rate alternative. Step it up Richmond Rd Cafe - we love you for serving the best! Please bring back the REAL Sicilian sausages - and we'll be back too!

17th August 2010 I live locally in Grey Lynn and love this place; especially on a sunny winter's day when sitting outside on the balcony. Try the rosti and vine ripened tomatoes!

18th July 2010 We went here yesterday for coffee and cake and this could well become my favourite café in Grey Lynn. In a new building with floor-to-ceiling windows, the vibe is great, and so it the service from the very friendly, smiley staff. I could imagine spending more time here in the future.
Consistently good. The bianci beans and chorizo are great.
