4th October 2010 Sunny sunday afternoon in Tauranga, our mission is to see a band and eat at no1 the strand. The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor interesting. Although being fully booked we were not jammed in like sardines. Our table was closest to the band but we we not drowned in sound which meant that we were still able to chat if we wanted. The deal was food and a band for $35 so i didn't get to see a menu. We were presented with ongoing plateers. The variety of food and tastes was outstanding. There were five people at our table and we were all impressed. I have lived and worked on The Strand and in my opinion no1 is the place to be. Let the food and the venue pleasently surprize you to.

11th September 2010 Great place with friendly service. Went here for a work function during the middle of the week and would definitely go back. Good selection of beers (local and imported) and food was really nice too.
