10th January 2012 We had a lovely breakfast here, the breakfast menu was extensive and the food really nice. The service was the only thing that let it down, it was really busy but only 3 girls on serving which led to a wait of over 45 minutes from ordering to getting our meal and pot of tea delivered. A shame as when it arrived it was great and the girls friendly and helpful. Would recommend all the same.

11th January 2011 The two of us decided to go here for breakfast on 31 December 2010.
Setting was nice, bustling street atmosphere. We were greeted and seated quickly and orders taken in good time. Our coffees and drinks were brought out in good time.
Unforunately thats where it ended. 45 minutes after being seated our food had not arrived. After an enquiry we were advised that our order went in 25 minutes prior, it would be there soon. Fair enough, we finished the paper and waited some more. Starting to get a bit restless we asked again when the food would arrive, an apology and advice that it would be 6-7mins (ample time to poach some eggs).
After another 15 minutes we enquire again of the manager. She was apologetic and advised that the meal would be compd.
Then the food arrived.
Oh my, what a dissapointment. Hard poached eggs, burnt bacon on soggy muffins. They had remembered to place the hollandaise on the side, but it was vinegary and blah. Marks pancake was good, fluffy but not too large, nice syrup - a bit commercial but nice.
Fair enough it was compd. But it was below average.
