28th April 2009 Very dissapointed with this restuarant. Made a booking for 6 for a Friday night at 6:30, arrived with two elderly relatives visiting from Scotland to a completely empty restaurant. Our guest's request for soup and desert was refused as it's restaurant policy to serve one main meal per customer and soup could not be considered as a main. Two points to consider here: in recessionary times, shouldn't El Condor be grateful for any custom it can get and in promoting Taranaki as a tourist destination, this was a major let down which left a bad taste. We walked out without ordering and won't be back.
