19th March 2012 Lots of people had told me about Lone Stars fantastic ribs and huge meals so thought I would try it myself. The ribs arrived and looked like they had already been eaten by someone else and the person in the kitchen just re-coated them with sauce and sent them out again. There was no meat on them. The coleslaw must have been days old as the cabbage was brown around the edges. I asked the waiter about the ribs and they replied, thats what they always look like. The service was rubbish and the wait staff looked like they had just got out of bed and did not want to be there. Would definitely not recommend this place and would definitely not go back.

14th February 2012 Hi and food is plentiful so be prepared to bring an extra large doggy-bag and it is better than good...great but unfortunately I had to send my entree back as it was luke warm. The service was a bit too slow for my liking but was helful and friendly. I would visit there again...value for money...:)

26th July 2010 When you first walk in, this Lone Star is so unlike the others it catches you off guard. The decor is very Kiwi rather than Texas .. once you get past that the food is the usual spectacular Lone Star fare and the staff as usual are great

22nd October 2008 If you're absolutely starving, this is the place to go! The portions are over-sized. Twice my wife and I have had to ask for doggy-bags. I love the atmosphere and the staff. Drinks are like everywhere else, expensive. Would recommend and we'll definitely be going back again.

2nd March 2007 I love to eat at Lone Star. I enjoy the food and atmosphere. Sadly this Lone Star is a little too modern and they seemed to have moved away from the original feel.
Still the food is great and staff and friendly as ever. Highly recommend eating here.
Great Service & lovely staff. Would go back again
