20th August 2010 Good reliable meals. Large portions and good variety. They don't take bookings so you have to walk in and wait upstairs at the bar. Only ever had one disappointing meal out of 15-20. They noticed I didn't eat much of it so gave both meals to us for 1/2 price! Staff always friendly.

20th July 2010 Thoroughly enjoyed the friendly attentive staff and the meal was faultless - our waiter was knowledgeable about the wines and offered us the promo wine for the night. Lemon/Lime meringue pie and icecream was a great way to finish the meal off.

18th October 2007 A bit of a disappointment. Very busy (was a Thursday night - apparently a busy night), very loud. People squashed in everywhere. Meal sounded interesting/exciting but just turned out to be a chicken breast which didn't taste like anything special. Seafood chowder (which I usually love) was plain and not particularly tasty. Only high point was the coleslaw which tasted great. Would not go back.
