I wanted to surprise Talai with a cuppa, for my beloved 10,000 miles away,18 hours into the Future World Time . Top of the Dome Cafe Warkworth New Zealand is Talai's favorite place for a cup of coffee. Using Skype I rang Bill [ during the same time as texting Talai on Skype , unknown to her ] Asked Bill for assistance to do this. In today's world of scams , Bill's faith and trust , and possibly His romantic side. We made tentative arrangements for me to pay 6-12 months later in the future when I visit Top of the Dome Cafe in New Zealand. As it worked out . Later in the day After success of this adventure. I was given Top of the Dome Cafe bank info to pay . I used Pay Pal . Bill designed and printed a voucher for Brunch with Coffee, and with Fiona & Warick [culprits] assistance, presented to Talai the voucher. Talai's reaction ? "wow-Wow-WOW.THIS is 1 of my life's Best surprises" A HUGE thank you to the family team at Top of the Dome Cafe. Nakemo
Top of the dome cafe is open 7am to 5pm every day with evening dinners on fridays and at other times for functions.
We are also licensed.
Fine locally roasted coffee and all home cooking.
Our cafe is alongside the start of the internationally acclaimed dome forest walkway which is part of the Te Arara track that runs the length of New Zealand.

13th July 2013 Beautiful cafe can't wait to go back coffees were amazing, food came out fast and tasted to a fine quality. Great cafe will recommend to others.

22nd May 2012 In May over 30 members of our car club dropped in for lunch. The staff coped surprisingly well with such an influx. The service was good, the food excellent (and reasonably priced!) and the venue cosy. We all loved it!

16th April 2011 Sadly I had a poor experience. The older male was arrogant and unfriendly, the coffee was like cold dishwater and the food was tasteless.
