2nd September 2010 The best kept secret of the west is Yaruki Japanese Restaurant.
We regularly visit this restaurant on a monthly basis, though are aware of people who have a standard booking to go once a week, though often end up going more!
The food is fresh, delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is friendly, with the diners, waiting staff and the chief all greeting each other like long lost cousins. There is friendly banter between tables as the regular dinners catch up on news since their last visit, and first timers at Yaruki often get caught up in discussions, jokes and chitchat, making them part of the Yaruki family.
The prices are very reasonable. There is wine for sale though the restaurant is a BYO. The menu is large and if you have not tried Japanese food before or are unsure of what to have, ask the waitress or better still one of the regulars, or try a Dinner Box, which gives you a wide range of tastes.
See you there

31st March 2013 I took my 9 year old daughter for her first proper Japanese meal and am so glad we chose Yaruki. The service was first class, the menu was well laid out and easy to understand. The food came quickly, was well presented and absolutely delicious. If you want fantastic Japanese food at sensible prices this is the place to come
