16th October 2017 These people still cook fish ( and chips ), but predominantly it's about the fish, the old fashioned method which produces the absolute best fish in my opinion. The way they do it is to do the final batter coating just prior to the fish going into the deep fryer. As the fish is almost dripping as it starts to cook it's like an explosion as it hits the hot oil and you get that rippley batter pattern with all the crispy edges just like you should. When you go there you can tell that they're good by the amount of customers they have. But even though they're busy they are still polite and friendly.
This place is a great local asset providing good food that most families can afford as a treat night. Great job guys. Thanks

6th November 2009 Fantastic service, always happy and pleasant staff, very quick service considering how busy they are, and very wide range of takeaways from asian dishes, buffet, polynesian, and your basic fish and chips. Food always tastes great, and very reasonable prices and 'meal deals'.
