3rd September 2007 OK, I'm biased, Linda the owner/operator is my partner, but really, the food here is fantastic. Great beef or chicken rotis, all the trimmings....but my favourite is the simple and healthy bean quesadilla, which comes pre-cut on a plate, with guacamole and grated carrot and shredded lettuce on the side. And it's very affordable - open for lunch in the BNZ foodcourt. Honestly, it's great!
9th July 2013 One word 'yuck'. Thought I would give them a try at the new location on Capital on the Quay.
Ordered a beef burrito and a coffee for $11.50
Burrito consisted of meat, lettuce, carrot and sour cream. Burrito reminded me of a kebab but worse. Had no flavours and could have done with some rice and salsa or something.
Coffee was very watery could not even taste the coffee!
Huge disappointment . If you want a proper and tastier Mexican I suggests go elsewhere to avoid disappointment.
To top it off they tried to charge me for full price instead of the combo price. After three attempts at giving me the correc price I already thought this place was not worth my time, and I was right.
Also they sell roti rolls. This is definitely not Mexican. Be wise and spend your $$ elsewhere

3rd September 2008 Mediocre Mexican food. It's hard to screw up a quesadilla, and those are satisfactory. We got a cheese quesadilla and it was well prepared. Based on john83526's review I will definitely go back to try the rotis.
Unfortunately, the burritos aren't that great. We tried the chicken burrito and the mushroom burrito. Basically, it's a tortilla wrapped around the primary ingredient with sour cream, salsa, carrots, and lettuce. That's not how a burrito is made!
I think the biggest disappointment was that the guacamole wasn't very good. It tastes like it's made from a frozen mix or perhaps the avocados weren't ripe when making it. Regardless, the guac left more to be desired.
