Sweepers and Equipment was founded in 2002, as the sole New Zealand agent for Schwarze Industries, a leader in regenerative air sweepers, based in Brisbane, Australia.
We are a privately-owned company, offering the only brand of regenerative air sweeper trucks available in New Zealand.

WHY REGENERATIVE AIR SWEEPERS?
They are more efficient: Regenerative sweepers use a blast of high volume air to loosen debris from the road or pavement surface. It is then lifted into the containment hopper via a suction tube. The blast and suction is generated by the Schwarze-exclusive WhisperWheelsm fan system. Double-belted curtains on the front and rear of the sweeping head contain the circulating air to assure minimal fugitive dust particles

They are more environmentally friendly: Unlike mechanical broom sweepers, the highly efficient regenerative system retains the micron-sized contaminants that accumulate on roads and streets. Studies emphasize the importance of removing these pollutants and stopping them from entering storm water runoff. Using regenerative air sweepers results in a cleaner street and a cleaner environment
