So easy to drive past, but what a mistake not to stop here!
We popped in one sunday lunch time and had superb food, in a lovely setting, with the fires blazing away.
The proprietor was more than happy to arrange our meals to suit some allergies, and made us feel right at home.
I have no idea what the accommodation side of things is, but the food was top-shelf, so if it's anything to go by, I sincerely hope the whole business does well.

Established in 1869 as the Speargrass Hotel, this beautiful historical building served the hungry and thirsty gold miners who flocked to the region in search of gold. Today, you(TM)ll find a modern cafe and function venue offering a scrumptious seasonal lunch and dinner menu, using only the freshest local produce by our in-house chef.

In summertime, sample and purchase locally grown fresh fruit and produce directly from growers at our Sunday markets.

Speargrass Inn offers B&B boutique accommodation with 3 elegant and comfortable rooms with ensuites, situated amongst spectacular mountain and rural views.
