The Bell Tower on Dog Point is purpose built boutique accommodation situated amid stunning scenery overlooking Marlborough's vineyards. Completely private, guests can choose serenity and quiet or socialise with other travellers and their hosts, Kirsty Sutherland and Steve Planthaber.
The main building features three adjoining living rooms: a relaxing 'clubby' sitting room with open fire, a sunny day room and an elegant dining room. The Lodge also has a comfortable library/TV room with sky and video equipment. All rooms lead through French doors to a sheltered, walled courtyard - perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun, or stroll beyond the courtyard for an expansive view of the Wairau Plains.
Included in the complex is the French Barn. Built from recycled materials and furnished with rustic antiques, this is a spacious, light and romantic building with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, comfortable living and dining areas, and a kitchenette. French doors lead outside from the dining and living areas. Particularly popular with honeymooners and families, all the lodge facilities are available to guests occupying the barn.
