Take an apetite, these meels are huge. Surrounded with old movie and music memorabilia, the atmosphere is relaxed and casual....albeit a little cramped....remember to keep those elbows in when you're eating. The meals were tasty and huge....but they do come in a smaller size....just remember to ask. With great dish names like the Johnny Cash Stash & Dixie Chicken, the meals were finger licking good!!

Being a big lad with a matching appetite. I like value for money and large portions. The lone star alway satifies and often there is to much for me to get through. The Ribbs I have managed to only defeat once and on other occasions there is often a doggy bag accompanying me home much to my partners embarrasment.

Always pays to book in advance - just shows how popular this place really is. Food always fantastic - usually a struggle for me to finish given the generous sized helpings. My hubbie's favourite - Lasso of Hog; not for the faint hearted or more to the point those with smaller appetities! Great relaxed atmosphere.

You can never go wrong food wise for a loan star, its the service that makes the diffrence and this one has pretty good service but parking can be a real nigthmare. you must try there loafs they are great
