The portfolio of forests under management built up steadily during the early years allowing organised development of the infrastructure necessary to manage the field activity and administer the accounting and investor reporting responsibilities.
During the last 11 years, the company has grown significantly and today manages 73 forests, comprising 21,512 hectares, on behalf of more than 6,400 investors from throughout New Zealand and overseas.
Today, Forest Enterprises continues its tradition as leader in its field in New Zealand, in terms of the hectares of forests we manage, the number of investors and the number of forests under management. During the last 30 years we have continued to innovate in all aspects of the business.
In 1992 we introduced major enhancements which opened the way for forestry to become an integral part of the investment portfolios of most New Zealanders, recommended by financial advisers.
