We provide advice and information to get you started and support and encouragement to keep you going.
We understand the difficulties of studying and some of the barriers you will face. We will support you to be successful and reach your goals
The Learning Shop is part of the government's new Tertiary Education Strategy package. It was opened on 30th May 2002 and is funded as a contract between the Ministry of Education and Whitireia Community Polytechnic
We have information on Universities, Polytechnics, Skill New Zealand training providers, local community organisations and a range of informal education and support providers
We offer advice on career pathway planning, mentoring support to help with on-going learning. We provide information on universities, polytechnics, training programmes, private providers and private training. We provide you with free access to computers for research, study, scholarships, career quest and career services
The Learning Shop is one of the selected agencies that deliver Youth Transition Services (YTS) to school leavers aged 15 - 19yrs. YTS clients are encouraged to develop goals for their future, know the necessary steps to get there and, if needed, are supported, to set out on their elected path. All our services are free, friendly and supportive
