Welcome to Clydestyle Furniture. Our business has been creating leather furniture for over 30 years.

Founder of the business Bill O'Connell although retired still retains a share in the business and with over 40 years experience in the upholstery trade is still available in an advisory role; sons James and Kevin now operate the business. James a trained cabinetmaker qualifying with an advanced trade certificate, is also an industry assessor for the furniture-making industry. Kevin trained as an Upholsterer and Motor Trimmer, gaining highest marks in the Trade Cerificate Exam in 1991 for Upholsterers throughout New Zealand.

W O'Connell & Sons manufacturers of ClydeStyle Quality Furniture are New Zealand's leading leather furniture manufacturers, catering for all types of customers from the domestic lounge to Parliament House and everything in between. Because we own and operate the business you deal with the people making the furniture, not some salesperson who may not necessarily know their product. Our furniture is wholly New Zealand made using renewable resources in the manufacture of our frames, NZ sourced products as components and first grade New Zealand leather from Tasman Tanning.
