"Close to Massey Uni" =miles from MU& from shops. Spa defunct, no free internet. Worst thing, my dutyfree bag vanished from reception desk as I checked in. No idea what happened to it. It never turned up. 4 days later I reported a missing garment. This had them shouting at me, throwing damp washing aggressively at me to check and refusing to clean or service room thereafter, so I moved to better hotel Then a woman rang new hotel "from PT Airport" saying missing bag sitting at PN airport 3-4 days. Air NZ & Airport Management at PN knew nothing of bag or caller, & label it a hoax.All very unsettling and peculiar.
