4th December 2010 I have had the pleasure of dining at the Boat Shed and it was perfect. The place has a cosy rustic feeling to it that makes you feel comfortable. The scenery is magic and makes the place feel homely.
The service is excellent and the staff are all local so they have that open country style attitude and demeanour.
The food was prepared to a very high standard and was to die for.
Whoever the chef is, they know how to prepare food to international standards which is a big bonus for patrons from near[local] and far[tourist].
I hope that if you are in Rawene you at least pop in for a coffee, or more, and that you enjoy the beautiful Hokianga habour whilst relaxing in comfort at the Boatshed.
