22nd April 2011 talk about a cracking place to get some REAL KIWI food! down to earth people without that wankiness of those posh places!!!!!!! whenever barbara and i come into the "BIG SMOKE" we make sure to drop by for a spot of grub and a ginuss. when my son andrew turns 18 we will definitely be here for me to by him his first pint!!!!!!!!!! The Muddy Farmer, located in Wyndham Street, in Auckland's CBD has the look and feel of a genuine Irish pub. It is located in the former Farmers department store under the Heritage Hotel.The tables, chairs and memorabilia were actually transported from Ireland, to really capture the look and feel of a tavern in the Emerald isle.
The pub is divided into four areas: The Brewery, The Snug, The Shop and The Cottage.
The Muddy Farmer is open from 11:00am until late, seven days a week.
It carries a range of traditional Irish beers, among them Guinness and Kilkenny, as well as popular New Zealand beers. A range of quality local and imported wines are alos available.
The Muddy Farmer serves full meals, light snacks and is available for functions.

23rd July 2010 A lovely place to unwind on a Friday after a week of being flogged by my boss! I've never had a bad drink or bad meal here. The staff are always up for a chat and they aren't bad looking either!
