16th June 2012 I purchased a top from Jean Jones 12 May 2012 and wore it only twice. After washing the top was shapeless and had pilling. I followed the washing instructions. Returned to (6 June) the shop to seek a suitable fix. Advised they would get back to me. Hadn't heard anything by 16 June. Returned to shop and was advised by the owner the top was at the warehouse being fixed. I asked how they were going to fix stretching? (They were making excuses for their in-action) told to come back next week. Wasn't happy with the response as I am a regular customer and spend lots each season. I asked for a credit note or a replacement top. Sales assistant (owner I think) wasn't prepared to make an concessions and blamed me for the condition of top. I wasn't going to accept that as I have purchased similar items and laundered correctly and still wearing. After a bit of arguing the manager decided to supply a new top but didn't have one in the shop and had to go to the factory to pick one up. Will return at 1pm to conclude transaction. CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS! I won't shop their again I will spend my money in other shops such as Hartleys and Blue Illusion!!
