TopHouse Historic Guesthouse is a cob building, b 1887, which honors it's colorful history by offering boutique accommodation, cafe meals ( indoor & outdoor seating) afternoon teas on fine china, & High Teas ( by reservation only). Guests not staying in the guesthouse may have dinner in the guesthouse on Fridays & Saturdays but must book in advance. Dinner is served ( Table d'Hote style) at the famous long table in the lounge where our huge open fireplace is located. Our Cafe is open from Thursday -Monday 10.30 -6.30pm ( summertime ) & 12.30-6.30pm ( wintertime) and offers a varied menu cooked on demand. Dinner is served from 7pm. TopHouse is located 1hr south of Nelson and 1.hr15mins west of Blenheim. Thanks to our very central location TopHouse is an ideal location to discover the Nelson, Tasman regions. TopHouse is unique, full of history and character and should not be missed.
