1st December 2007 It was a special experience staying in this wonderful house with our friends Mary and Jim Powell who have recently taken over Heartland Lodge in Twizel. Our bedroom was extremely spacious with a view of Aoraki / Mt Cook and we had great sleeps on our king size bed. It was so quiet in the semi rural setting.
The lounge area which is available for guests had heaps of space and we enjoyed relaxing with a coffee on the outdoor patio by the garden.
We had dinner there both nights and enjoyed terrific meals. Mary's gourmet cooking was a real treat. Maria and Mike
