14th July 2010 Unlike the existing reviews, we found the service fabulous and the food average. It was a very busy sunday and they did well we thought overall. Best views in town!

20th October 2008 Firstly my 2 stars are for the food. It was great. Pity I cant say the same about the service. 3 of us turned up at 10.15am and tried to order a coffee inside ( no-one had come to our table). We were told "thats not the way it works here, go back outside" so we did as asked. We then placed our order with the frosty waitress, who informed us there was a 20 min delay on food. One and a half hours later... we finally got our food. In between time, we had tried to be polite to our waitress, as we thought she may be having a bad day. Our politeness was met with her sighing when we ordered something and everything been a major hassle for her. When a member of our group went and asked where our food was (after 1.5 hrs) she was met with the arms been thrown in the air and the comment of "you are not the only people in the restaurant!" We complained at the bar when we were paying and were told they were understaffed. This is a total cop out. We all have had times in jobs where we have been busy and understaffed, but a smile cost nothing. We are essentially paying their wages and if you cant handle a busy Sunday morning in a resort town cafe, for a group of 10, then you shouldnt be working in hospitality! Its a shame, as the food was nice, but the level of customer service left a very bitter taste and I will never be returning to the restaurant. They should perhaps bear in mind that when you get shoddy service, every 1 person in our group will tell 10 people.I know today I have already told 4. Food for thought...

20th October 2008 I would not recommend this restaurant; we ate here on Sunday 19 October 2008. The service was very poor, When we enquired about how much longer it was going to take, the waitress said we were not the only people in the restaurant and walked off, we had been waiting for over an hour!, this is, without a doubt the rudest service I have ever experienced!!
