27th January 2014 We had my sisters engagement party here on the 25/01/14. Elly, her sons and husband made our evening one to always remember. The food was impeccable! I had the Rib eye Steak and I would highly recommend it, the steak was cooked to perfection! All of our guests only had great comments about their meals as well. We did have to wait a little bit for our meals but that is to be expected for such a large group and we were given complimentary baskets of chips while we waited. On top of all the above Elly went above and beyond and preformed a traditional dance for our guest and got us all up dancing with her (even the other guests that were dining got up). All in all a night we will always remember and we will definitely be back to dine at the Persian Kitchen again. Thank you Elly and family!

10th October 2011 How sad to see this restaurant has been demolished as a result of the earthquakes. I do hope that Elly will open somewhere else. We miss the food and ambiance. This was a wonderful place for either a quiet meal for 2 or for a whole group. Food was always fresh with those delightful Middle Eastern flavours.

4th October 2010 Appears to be early days for evening dining, but heaps of potential here. Food is excellent, service is attentive without being intrusive and prices are very reasonable. Diners appear to be older set, but if you're looking for somewhere to dine and enjoy quiet conversation without having to strain your ears or lungs I highly recommend it.
