5th July 2012 In short, I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone...
At first we were greeted by a disinterested waiter with pants half hanging off and showing off his green underwear gangster stlye.
His attitude was worse, and he just gestured towards the table with his chin very rudely...By the time we sat down two menus were practically thrown at the table by a waitress passing by The food arrived quickly I must admit but the taste wasn't all that great and it was rather odd and had too much sauce The Meegoreng and Chicken Sambal had too much sweet sauce and were unlike any other Malaysian Meegoreng I have tasted...
The worst part was when a kitchen staff came to the front cashier's stand and picked his nose for a few minutes while engaging in a conversation with the waiters...In front of all the customers and diners!!!
I love Malaysian food and I have been to many restaurants in Lower Hutt, Auckland, and Wellington and this one is most definitely the worst by far

31st August 2010 OK, forget about the decor, forget about the Malaysian crowd standing by the counter. This place is all about the food and nothing else comes close to this place. The Char Kway Teow and roti of this place deserve a health warning as they are addictive!

29th August 2010 Totally love this place. Great and fast. Problems going on Friday and Saturday night, as no tables but it is because it is god damn good.

13th July 2010 A local favourite, it came highly recommended by my wife's Welly friends. Great cheap Malaysian food - I totally agree. A very small space (about 5 tables, I think), the service is fast and the food is always good. If you can't find a table, get takeaway. I recommend the noodle dishes, all of them.
