Having started in 1982, we have traditionally done a mix of residential and commercial architecture.
A prime strength of our practice is excellent communication and achieving a clear understanding of your needs. Ultimately we believe this process of exploring and listening to achieve understanding more than anything else underpins the success of the built outcome. We take pride in the relationships we build with clients, and measure our success by the large number of clients who engage us to carry out further work for them, often over many years.
We have also developed expertise in specialty areas for laboratory and scientific buildings, as well as for buildings in extreme environments, which sees us undertaking work around New Zealand and Australia, in remote back country areas for the Department of Conservation, and in Antarctica for Scott Base.
We have developed a reputation for solving the issues involving complex briefs, multiple users and seemingly conflicting requirements, and distilled these down to provide innovative solutions that at least meets, if not exceeds our clients(TM) expectations.
We are also specialists in the area of Building Code requirements and Access and Facilities for People with Disabilities. Our early advice and design work in these areas mean that work associated with compliance can be rationalised and often significantly reduced, saving our clients both time and money while achieving a successful result for clients and users.
Our knowledge base and our passion for oecreating quality built environments means that not only are we creating buildings that are aesthetically pleasing, we are also creating environments that significantly enhance the way that people live, learn, work, and play.
