Julicher Estate has 20 hectares of vineyards on the Te Muna Terraces, an extension of the Martinborough Terraces. Located on an old riverbed with freedraining, alluvial soils Julicher(TM)s vineyards provide ideal viticulture conditions. The special micro- climate of the Te Muna area make these vineyards ideal for the production of small parcel specialist wines.

Best known for their Pinot Noir, Julicher Estate was also recently awarded 5 stars in Cuisine magazine for their Julicher Estate Riesling 2005. This latest award reflects the excellent micro-climate and terroir of their Te Muna Vineyard for Riesling. Other popular varieties produced by Julicher Estate include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Ros.
