The Suwan Thai Restaurant has been established in Orewa for 12 years and has a reputation for being the best Thai restaurant in Orewa. It has a very extensive Menu and caters to all different diets from Vegetarian to Gluten free.
There is a bar area and Gaming Lounge that has 9 machines.
There is a great space for special family occasions and also corporate functions.
The location is at the heart of Orewa with ample parking available and easy access to the Motorway. Only 30 minutes from downtown Auckland
The restaurant has very friendly staff and that gentle Thai ambience.

7th September 2012 WOW, What a nice restaurant. We have 10 people in the party. The service was very good and friendly. The food was excellent, my green curry chicken was the best green curry I have had. This is one of the best Thai Restaurant in Auckland.

29th December 2009 Suwan Thai Restuarant is a place to relax and to enjoy delicious home-made traditional Thai foods. The staff are freindly and enthusiastic to helping you make a chioce of the extensive menu ranging from tasty Thai pastries to a succulent thai chicken satay sereved with peanut sauce. The main thing that tantalised my taste bud s the most was the sheer taste of the succulent chicken such as the gai pad med witch was a tangy senstion and the exquisite sweet taste of the deep fried ice cream in wich was the best dessert I have personally ever tasted. Overall Suwan thai restuarant will cater to large funtions or a casual dinner I would recomend this restuarant to anybody looking for a place to relax and to enjoy Thai food.
