4th November 2010 I always try to get here when I'm in Wellington, because the food is always exceptional, whether a 'simple' baked item, or a complex dish of the menu. They go beyond the standards to offer food that delights. It's not cheap, but it's fantastic.
16th November 2010 since reopening (after renovation work to the art gallery) nikau has picked up where it left off - good quality cafe food and coffee, in a clean, modern setting. Great place for a business meeting or casual coffee with friends. As first review notes, not on the cheap side, but generally the prices are worth it.
