FOREIGNERS/TOURISTS UNWELCOME. Unfortunately, myself and my fellow colleagues have, over more then one occasion, found the (older male) Pharmacist to be quite unhelpful regarding information regarding basic over the counter non-prescription medication. In addition to not being served the items we needed, we have also been subjected to narrow minded assumptions regarding pharmacy regulations and pharmacy customers in reference to our home country. Baffling (this was not a one off occasion) and disappointing, especially as we have found the rest of Taupo to be welcoming and the lovely tourist destination it is.
