13th March 2009 I was recomended to visit the Bay Brasserie by a friend who has a vacation house in Acacia Bay and who visits frequently. Knowing that locals often recommend their favourite places, I thought it would be worth a try - and wasn't it just! ? ! FABULOUS!
The feeling is welcoming and homely, familiar. Locals mix with some tourists and French, Greek, Italian and Thai cuisunes meet in the menu and mix well in the tummy. I didn't try the pizzas but heard they are great, instead I had seafood for starters and a lovely casserole on puf pastry for entree from the Bar Menu, then the deep fried Camembert and a bacon wrapped eye fillet the day after.... all cooked to perfection! This is a must-visit for gourmet Taupo visitors, thank you Annie for the recommendation!

18th August 2009 I am an Acacia Bay Local and love the Bay Bar and Brasserie, there is a bar menu, resturant menu and pizza board menu to choose from. The bar and resturant menus are changed regularly and the food is always scrummy and visual. Awsome job from Jerry and the team!
