First impressions.... great decor, very inviting and relaxed atmosphere, coffee and treat superb and still with all of that, a fantastic colour and cut, its not often you can enjoy an experience like that in a new salon... The salon is stylish and clean. The first haircut I got at Revue was fantastic, as was the second. The girl totally dropped the ball on the third. I felt like my color was over processed (was not blond but a yellow) while she mucked around with a helper straightening her own hair, making her late I presume which would be the explanation of why she hacked at my hair randomly, ignored my instructions to keep length, and rushed me out the door while her next client waited. To say I am disappointed in my hair is the understatement of the century. It is 3 months later and I am STILL hating the way my hair is, it took me 3 years to grow it long and after this hair cut it will take another 2 years to get back in a way that i can have a good style again. I can't get it cut because it is still too short, so I have to endure a lopsided, overly thinned out mullet that has jagged pieces and disjointed sections while I wait for my hair to grow. I have very fine hair, one would think that using thinning out my hair is an obvious no no, it made my hair flat, almost impossible to style with my ghd's. I have just absolutely hated my hair for this time as she totally screwed it up and now I am dubious about ever letting someone touch my hair again. How hard is it to find a hair stylist who actually knows what they are doing and knows what customer service is, you can be damn sure all my friends and family will never go there because they can see first hand what my hair looks like. It looks like my 7 year old niece cut my hair. I had awesome hair and now i look like a redneck gone wrong.

I went to Salon Revue a few months ago to get a trim and a half head of foils. The salon had a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly, however I won't be going back there. Firstly, the colour. I was happy with my existing colour and asked for the same, however overall my hair ended up a lot lighter but with some random dark stripes. I didn't really notice these stripes until I left the salon but I really grew to hate them! I thought the contrasting colours would die down after a week or two but unfortunately this wasn't the case. Secondly, the cut. As the lady was cutting it I felt as though she was just randomly picking out pieces of hair and adding layers. The end result wasn't a disaster but I thought it looked messy. All up I think it cost me around $150 which was cheaper than other salons I had looked at.

A really lovely looking salon and had a really nice hairdresser too. Her name was Emma and she was really nice and did an amazing job. They are a great price and I will definitely be going back!!! PaulaB
