The only radiologists who will supervise and interpret your patient(TM)s MRI are fully qualified and experienced neuro-radiologists Drs Ayton Hope and Maurice Moriarty.
Working at Auckland Hospital as diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologists, after completing internationally recognised training fellowships, Drs Hope and Moriarty have post-graduate neuro-radiology experience of 20 and 15 years respectively. The team also includes New Zealand(TM)s most experienced 3T MR radiographer , working on a fully specified and recently installed Philips oeAchieva 3T MRI machine, configured exclusively for brain, spine and neuro-angiographic examinations.

3 Tesla MRI scans provide better spatial resolution and superior pathology representation to those obtained on 1.5T units and are of shorter duration. This makes scanning easier for patients who are claustrophobic or in pain.
In addition to standard sequences ( diffusion, spectroscopy, MRV and angiography), TRINITY MRI will also provide perfusion studies of the brain(for ischemia/stroke evaluation) and functional scans/ fibre tracking (for pre-surgical planning ).

All referrals are assessed by Drs Hope and Moriarty for temporal allocation and rigorous scanning protocols are universally applied to ensure maximal diagnostic accuracy.
Intra-scan image transfer to radiologist, and soon to be installed in-scan DVD viewing are further features which will set TRINITY MRI far apart from general imaging providers.
